- The samething happened to me. My system was i386sx16 with 2mb ram. I
- allocated 4096 for swap and went to install exactly as you did. The
- installation proceeded as yours and stood there for a long time with
- the HD lights going on and off. At one time I was so frustrated that I
- left it running for about an hour. I didn't want to restart it all
- again. I left for the mall and when I came back it had installed
- itself. I guess it took SEVERAL minutes to install. It might be due to
- the speed of my HD or the limited memory or Something. Anyway I have
- since wiped it off my HD. I'm waiting till I get a good system with
- more disk space and at-least 8mb ram to run Linux. I love it, but I
- guess I have to give it what it like to run comfortably.
-
- MW> Q5. The SLS README doesn't seem to say this, but do I have to reboot
- MW> again after I "mkfs /dev/hda2"?
-
- MW> BTW: I forgot to mention it, but I _did_ type "swapon /dev/hda3"
- MW> before I started the "doinstall".
-
- MW> tnx to anyone who takes the time to help me.
- Let me know of your successes. Perhaps, there might be a way around it
- and I could use it too. Good Luck!
