- i am one of those people who was still running a relatively old version of
- linux (0.96c) until quite recently.
-
- i upgraded to 0.99, and noticed that some of my old binaries were broken in
- one way or other.
-
- i decided to make a list of what was broken. this is only a start,
- i'm going to provide follow-ups as i find new broken binaries...
- anyway, the list is meant to be updated by it's readers; if you know
- of a binary that is broken, please add it to the list.
-
-
- here it is:
-
- ---===------===------===------===------===------===------===------===---
-
- binary acquisition date fault
- ====== ================ =====
-
- setterm ~ 92.07.10 stat()
- tcsh ~ 92.07.10 stat()
-
- ---===------===------===------===------===------===------===------===---
-
- if you have a broken binary that is newer than something that is on this
- list and/or contains some other fault,
- please add it to the list in the following way (example with setterm):
-
-
- setterm ~ 92.07.10 stat()
- ~ 92.08.17 stat() + something_else
- tcsh ... ...
-
-
- ok, that's about it. if you post follow-up(s), feel free to delete stuff
- liberally, as long as the summary between the '---===---' lines remains.
