  11. I've got two problems, that I can't solve... I've look in the FAQ, and
  12. didn't see anything related to either, so here goes...

  14. Why is root login refused on some terminals?  I've encountered this in
  15. two places. first, I've added a couple extra getty calls in inittab so I can
  16. login to tty5 and tty6, but if I try to login as root, I get the message
  17.  "root login refused on this terminal."  Same thing happens if I try to login
  18. as root from an xterm.  What do I need to do to fix this?

  20. Second problem I've seen mentioned in the past, but apparently missed the 
  21. solution...  I'm using minicom, and when I start up kermit, I never see the 
  22. kermit command prompt.  How to fix this?
