  13. the solution, as Marlet already points out in the README for viewer!!, is to
  14. make a simple patch to the epoch source:
  15.   in buffer.h, next to last line, change the default for is_meta_char from
  16.    > 240    to
  17.    > 200
  18. and recompile..dont use the ctl-arrow kludge.
  19.  i will post a patched epoch-4.2 binary to tsx-11 (dir /pub/linux/packages/TeX)
