  11. I've compiled the new C-Kermit 5A(188) with and without networking
  12. and beamed both binaries up to sunsite.  But I noticed when it ran
  13. my .kermrc that there is no hardware RTS/CTS flow control in this
  14. version (POSIX doesn't define flow control; not all unices support
  15. it).

  17. Is this a problem for sending files at higher speeds, especially
  18. when running V.42 LAP-M error correction?  I would think RTS/CTS
  19. would be essential.  Or maybe Linux's serial drivers always use it?
  20. If it's necessary and a fix is easy, I'd be happy to recompile and
  21. beam up new binaries.
