- I've compiled the new C-Kermit 5A(188) with and without networking
- and beamed both binaries up to sunsite. But I noticed when it ran
- my .kermrc that there is no hardware RTS/CTS flow control in this
- version (POSIX doesn't define flow control; not all unices support
- it).
-
- Is this a problem for sending files at higher speeds, especially
- when running V.42 LAP-M error correction? I would think RTS/CTS
- would be essential. Or maybe Linux's serial drivers always use it?
- If it's necessary and a fix is easy, I'd be happy to recompile and
- beam up new binaries.
