  14. I use Xfree86 and TCP/IP. That almost work well.
  15. but sometimes when I run some remote X program (ex maze) from SUN3,
  16. X hangs with message as follows.

  18. WD8013 transmit timed out
  19. love vmunix: *** tcp.c:tcp_data bug acked < copied
  20.  
  21. And almost TCP/IP client programs (telnet, ftp..) hangs occasionally.
  22. So, I prefer using 'minicom' because of stability .

  24. I think it's some timing constants, but I have no idea about it.

  26. And onother question ..

  28. I downloaded new SLS tcpip.taz from tsx-11.mit.edu. 
  29. but new telnet seems no longer input 8bit characters.
  30. It's very unuseful here using in 8-bit characters..

  32. Is any options and patches for 8-bit charaters ??
