  13.  I compiled Epoch 4.2 (with gcc 2.2.2d7 on a Linux system) and it works fine
  14. until i 
  15.   (setq-default ctl-arrow 'eightbitfull) to enable \202, etc (for use
  16. with Marlet's viewer (wysiwyg TeX package for Epoch or Lucid).
  17.  then i dump core when i backspace over a \202.  works fine for higher
  18. eight bit chars (\240 and up).
  19.   can anyone suggest a fix/replacement for the ctl-arrow stuff ??

  23. \202 for TeX's \beta, etc.
