- I've been attempting to install Linux on an IBM PS/VP 6384
- machine. It is configured as follows:
-
- 33 MHz 486DX
- 8 Meg RAM
- Tseng ET4000AX SVGA
- 200 meg Maxtor 7213AI IDE hard disk
-
- The SLS installation disk boots up fine on the machine but
- fdisk will not read the disk. It responds with
- 'unable to read /dev/hda'
- when I try to use it.
-
- Does anyone know how to correct the problem?
-
- Thanks in advance.
