  12. This may be a problem in just our local implementation, but on the
  13. chance that somebody here has seen this problem...

  15. People getting mail sent to a mailing list will often get a single
  16. piece of mail with the contents repeated twice in concatination.
  17. Both some of the headers and the full body of the message will appear
  18. twice.  Occasionally there will be differences in the header
  19. information.

  21. For example the upper version of the mail will have a header like
  22.  
  23.     From: dween@mtgzfs3.att.com (Rich Pennenga)
  24.  
  25. and the lower version will have the header appearing as
  26.  
  27.     From: mtgzfs3.att.com!dween (Rich Pennenga)

  29. It looks like somewhere there is some header processing going on and
  30. the processed verion gets appended to the beginning of the message
  31. rather than replaceing it altogether.  In the examples I have seen
  32. where headers are different, the more processed version appears in the
  33. upper half of the mail.  Any ideas, anyone?  Have you seen this before
  34. or have some idea how we might have done this to ourselves?
