  17. I have tried putting the line 
  18. sunny.king.ac.uk 
  19.  
  20. in my domain std file and the checkdom program during the 'make check'
  21. command fails with an awk error complainng about line 4.
  22. I dont have a line 4 just the one mentioned above!

  24. The manual for this Sendmail Configuration Package UK2.1 is a bit vague
  25. about what should go in here, there are no example lines in the User Guide
  26. for this bit (at the bottom of page 3)

  28. I'm at my wits end with this. 
  29. I ran make, anyway, and the slave.cf file 
  30. still had glasgow in two parts of it. I changed these to something
  31. sensible, although I didn't know whether the w in w.cs.glasgow should
  32. be left in, or removed to read w.king.ac.uk or king.ac.uk.

  34. Anyway I installed the .cf, restarted sendmail and now I can't send any mail
  35. at all. I could send mail before when I tried editing the file as in the sun3.5 
  36. manuals.

  38. Is this program really meant to make things simpler?
