- I am a new user of elm and will immediately give thumbs up to it as a
- piece of software.
-
- I do have a few questions.
-
- 1) Is there a FAQ? I searched news.answers and only found the
- monthly notes.
-
- 2) How does one create an alias file. (Do I want an alias file) i
- want to shortcut my typing to regular recipients of my mail
-
- 3) Is there a way for elm to automatically file mail into folders
- by reading the subject line. I post a compiled list to a newsgroup and
- people make contributions and make requests by sending commands such as
- 'query' and 'info' in the subject line and the details in the body. As it
- is now, I have to manually save them with 's' then '={folder}'.
-
- 4) Is there a Mac equivelant to elm or is there a way to access my mail
- from my home mac (on the internet) without needing to telnet to my acct?
-
-
- Well, that's alot for one post. respond either here or to me directly.
-
- Th'nx.
- Greg
