- One of the joys of having a successful language, a language whose user
- base is doubling every nine months or so, is that the vast majority
- of C++ programmers are new C++ programmers. I am happy to answer a few
- simple questions, and get new people pointed in the right direction,
- in exchange for being able to program in a widely successful and
- available language.
-
- A better question would be why all the new C++ programmers have to put
- up with all the inapplicable esoterica brought up by the auld time
- C++ hacks ;-)
