  21. After viewing a few of the discussions I was wondering if this is an
  22. appropriate area for my involvement?  I am a freelance writer and a
  23. fulltime programmer and software designer. I hope to have my freelancing
  24. become my full time employment in the near future.  Most of my writing is
  25. of a technical nature for various computer related magazines but I also
  26. write a column for Computer Gaming World and I am working on my first book
  27. for Microsoft Press.  I do not have a formal education in writing and aside
  28. from proposals and project plans I do not do any technical writing in my
  29. employment.  Can I gain anything from this discussion and also have
  30. something to offer to the others?
