  14. Hope this isn't a FAQ:

  16. Does anyone know where I might get (free or commercial) DSP code 
  17. implementing modem functions (modulation, demodulation, filtering, 
  18. training, etc...)? I'm interested in V.32bis, V.32, V.22bis, V.22, Bell 
  19. 212 -- any or all of these. Ideally I'd like to get source as well as 
  20. executable code, but would also like to know about any providers of 
  21. executable-only implementations.

  23. I'm not planning to go into the modem business, so modem companies need 
  24. fear no competition. The requirement is an internal one in my company -- 
  25. we need to put together an integrated piece of hardware incorporating 
  26. both modem functions and proprietary protocol and network-management 
  27. processing. If it's cheaper for us to license code than to write it 
  28. ourselves, we shall.
