- Hope this isn't a FAQ:
-
- Does anyone know where I might get (free or commercial) DSP code
- implementing modem functions (modulation, demodulation, filtering,
- training, etc...)? I'm interested in V.32bis, V.32, V.22bis, V.22, Bell
- 212 -- any or all of these. Ideally I'd like to get source as well as
- executable code, but would also like to know about any providers of
- executable-only implementations.
-
- I'm not planning to go into the modem business, so modem companies need
- fear no competition. The requirement is an internal one in my company --
- we need to put together an integrated piece of hardware incorporating
- both modem functions and proprietary protocol and network-management
- processing. If it's cheaper for us to license code than to write it
- ourselves, we shall.
-
- I'll summarize and post any responses I get.
-
- Thanks much!
