-
- Both your ASM-CS and the big iron need to be on the network(Ethernet or
- Token Ring) . Your big iron also need to be able to communicate TCP/IP.
- Basically, tn3270 is a version of telnet that emulate IBM3270 terminal.

-
- You can set the bit rate on the CSC-16 up to 57.6 Kbps. This is only
- useful for harwire terminal line. Most modem don't really give you such a
- throughput.
-

- the socket connection (reverse telnet?)?
-
- You can set up reverse telnet from the terminal server to the IBM7171 box.
- I do that before our big blue run TCP/IP. However, it will not be tn3270.
- You just use the regular telnet to make the connection.
-
-
- >o Can I do scripted dialing for an outdial using the ASM-CS as a modem pool?
-
- there are some connection strings that you can setup for connection. I
- don't use it a lot and therefore I would not make any comments. Maybe someone
- can tell you more about that..
