  17. V.32 was approved in 1984.  V.32bis was approved in 1991.  There's 
  18. no such thing as "V.32 FAST".  If you mean "V.fast", this is the 
  19. interim, working title of a standard for a duplex modem operating at 
  20. up to 28,800 bit/s.  It will probably be 1994 before it is adopted.
