  14.     Hi, I am compiling a survey on architecture support for advanced
  15.     visually-oriented applications

  17.     Some aspects of this survey are the following:

  19.     1. Support for graphics function in general-purpose processors.
  20.     2. Sp. purpose coprocessors that offload work from main processors.
  21.     3. Design choices in actual workstation systems ranging from Xterminals
  22.        to advanced modeling/visualization engines.

  24.     Some related areas include design of laser-printer engines / Postscript
  25.     interpretors.

  34.     2. Support for saturating arithmetic.
