  15. The kind of publication pattern you describe has to be handled with
  16. multiple patterns.  There's no way one pattern can predict it, but we've
  17. started experimenting with titles like these and have set up a sequence
  18. of patterns which we hope will cover the situation.  It becomes an issue
  19. of how much time you can devote to these problem situations where
  20. multiple patterns are needed.  For something that is monthly except for
  21. one month (when it is semi-monthly), you essentially need a monthly pattern,
  22. then a semi-monthly pattern, then another monthly pattern, etc.  I can see
  23. where a problem might arise if the predicted date of the first issue
  24. expected on the pattern doesn't fall in line with the actual date of
  25. arrival, so the receivers are going to have to pay close attention when
  26. receiving.  We've put CHECK-IN NOTES on these patterns.
