- Richard,
- I am myself opposed to government intervention in general, but I am
- dealing with the reality that this society has decided that government
- intervention in almost every aspect of life. While the attempt of
- California voters to control government spending is admirable (I wish they
- would find something other than education to cut), it is not the norm.
- Education seems to be coming under particular pressure, possibly because
- the population is aging and has other concerns, such as medical care. This
- is an interesting point you bring up, but I'm not sure how it related to
- the main thrust of my message. Maybe I need to be more clear; sorry if I
- was not.
- Lee Mohon.
