  13. Michael Kramer, please do a lot of us a favor and post a
  14. summary of the responses you get on and off the list to your
  15. query.  I find one "expert" using the term analog for any digital
  16. signal that is not compressed, which means that the language
  17. is really being used loosely in some quarters.  A lot of
  18. money is going to be spent in the next few years on
  19. compression schemes in order to incorporate visual data in
  20. multimedia programs, and many of us could profit from what I hope
  21. will be a comprehensive discussion.  Thanks.
