- Michael Kramer, please do a lot of us a favor and post a
- summary of the responses you get on and off the list to your
- query. I find one "expert" using the term analog for any digital
- signal that is not compressed, which means that the language
- is really being used loosely in some quarters. A lot of
- money is going to be spent in the next few years on
- compression schemes in order to incorporate visual data in
- multimedia programs, and many of us could profit from what I hope
- will be a comprehensive discussion. Thanks.
