- I too am curious about this. The RTNV support package is one that DEC
- has opposed for many years since it would permit users to (a) not buy TSC
- since they know what they are doing or (b) no buy TSC becuase TSC was
- useless or (c) not buy TSC becuase they planned to "steal" the support
- by keeping only one node under contract.

- Item C is a legitimate concern. Item a is bad business. Item b is bad business
- are bears an unpleasant resemble to "bundling", a practice tht must always
- be view with caution since it is often not in the customers interest and
- thus drives them (in their enlightened self interest) to other vendors.
