  13. I have two questions:

  15. 1.      What policies do libraries have for books that are returned
  16. damaged?  What sort of fine is assessed?  Do you have levels of fees --
  17. from slight damage to total loss?

  19. 2.      How do you make these policies (privileges and responsibilities
  20. of the library) known to library users?  Do you use Student and Faculty
  21. Handbooks?  Do you make it available through an electronic format -- for
  22. example, a campus network or online catalog?

  24. I am new to the system, so if this has been discussed recently could
  25. someone let me know the outcome of the discussion?
