- Since installing UCX 2.0 a few weeks ago, we have had problems with
- the FTP server going away - it didn't die, it just refused to answer
- incoming requests an hour or so after UCX had been started,
- with occasional periods when it would work. After checking everything
- I could think of, I called CSC, and after going through some stuff
- we noticed that the UCX$FTP account had the DEFCLI flag turned on
- (as it was set in the DEFAULT record). They told me that they had
- seen this cause problems, but had no idea why. Anyways, I turned off
- the DEFCLI flag, and FTP is now happy!
