- I would like this information too, as I also think 4 rings is too short.

- I have a suspicion that the chip in the answering machine may be able
- to do this already, but the switches on my answering machine allow
- only selection of 2 or 4 rings before answering ... someday I'm going
- to take it apart & find out what chip it is, so I can get the full
- spec - or I might just try connecting up any unused pins & see what
- happens :-)
