  21. I have a suspicion that the chip in the answering machine may be able
  22. to do this already, but the switches on my answering machine allow
  23. only selection of 2 or 4 rings before answering ... someday I'm going
  24. to take it apart & find out what chip it is, so I can get the full
  25. spec - or I might just try connecting up any unused pins & see what
  26. happens :-)
