  14. Hi.  Please help me.  I'm trying to find out what the technical
  15. differences are between UK phone wiring and US phone wiring.  If someone
  16. can assist me with the following questions, I will be eternally grateful
  17. and buy them plenty of beer the next time they're in the states (in
  18. Boston, MA):

  20. Are RJ-11 jacks used, or commonly available in the UK?

  22. If not, is there an easy adaptor or change that can be done to facilitate
  23. a conversion?

  25. Will US modems work overseas without any changes (except PS)?
