- Hi. Please help me. I'm trying to find out what the technical
- differences are between UK phone wiring and US phone wiring. If someone
- can assist me with the following questions, I will be eternally grateful
- and buy them plenty of beer the next time they're in the states (in
- Boston, MA):
-
- Are RJ-11 jacks used, or commonly available in the UK?
-
- If not, is there an easy adaptor or change that can be done to facilitate
- a conversion?
-
- Will US modems work overseas without any changes (except PS)?
-
- Please email me with answers, as I don't normally read this newsgroup.
