- It's to do with allocation of blame. The first dead person I ever saw
- was a dead pedestrian on a zebra crossing. He had been run over by a
- police car. Since he was on a zebra crossing it was clearly the fault
- of the police driver, whom I have no doubt got a good spanking for
- this naughty behaviour. If there had been no lines on the road, the
- police driver wouldn't have got spanked.
