  37. Since your story is all about "would have"s,  let's add another one in there.   
  38. Since research is never just the work of one person, there *would have* been  
  39. another person with the expertise necessary to develop what "Chelsea Smith"  
  40. *would have* developed.

  42. Don't like that story?  How about another one...  The development of the  
  43. attack virii *would have* been delayed 10 years because of Chelsea Smith who  
  44. never quite learned how to sterilize lab equipment properly.

  48. You can make up as many stories as you like...  The fact is we still have to  
  49. deal within the bounds of reality.  If you want to post this kind of stuff,  
  50. please post it to a creative writing News Group.
