- }Interesting that you describe both of your parents as homphobic.
- }From what my Abnormal Psychology prof said about the topic, when
- }a person entertains the thought of having sex with a MOTSS, and it

- }spit out a very powerful "NO!", that person is very likely to be
- }homophobic later, because when sie sees MOTSS relationships, a part

- }according to my moral convictions/religious beliefs/etc that is WRONG
- }and I will burn in hell for it, so I am uncomfortable looking at it.
- }So uncomfortable that I will squash it wherever I see it.
- }I'm not saying that your parents are LBG, but it would provide an

- 8-] That *is* an amusing thought.. They're both totally
- devout Christians of the Lutheran persuasion, and I never got the
- impression that they were comfortable about sexuality in any
- form.. Only times that they mentioned it was when they told me
- that everything I needed to know about sex was on shelf 8 of my
- father's library (and if I had any questions, look it up there and
- don't bug them), and when my father took 15 minutes after dinner
- and laid down his calm, analytical, objective, logical (and
- absolutely FUCKED) reasoning for why homosexuality was an illness.
- For all I know, my father's workaholism (11 hours a day, 6
- days a week) may be from the sublimation of repressed sexual
- energy. :-)

- Well, it would've been handy career-wise, but if I could
- possibly get a toehold in Borland (wish wish hope hope) we could
- do just as well in Scotts Valley, CA. (It'd be a shorter move,
- too.) (Big hint to any Borland headhunters out there -- Borland
- is the closest thing I have to a Heavenly Afterlife. There's very
- little I wouldn't do to get put on the C++ Compiler Development
- Team.)
