  29. Behavior is not the issue.  Legislated bigotry is the
  30. issue.  Why is it OK to single out a group of people
  31. for discrimination based on an innate characteristic
  32. which if acted on results in consensual private activities
  33. between adults?

  35. Saying that the government should provide a separation of
  36. church and state by enacting non-discrimination laws based
  37. on choice of religion and allowing religious groups to
  38. be free from taxes while at the same time saying that
  39. the government should single out gay people for loss of
  40. privileges and rights enjoyed by heterosexuals based solely
  41. on religious grounds (can you provide any others?) is
  42. hypocrisy - a sin mentioned more often and more clearly
  43. in the Bible than homosexuality, which is in fact not
  44. mentioned explicitly at all.
