- Intentional incompetence (e.g. not doing his job to the best of
- his ability), or, I believe, "malfeasance (sp?) in office" is an
- impeachable crime. I suspect Romer, for political reasons, will
- do a _very_ incompetent job of defending Amendment 2 in office.

- The moral reasons for committing a crime, do not justify that act.
- If he wasn't willing to enforce and support the laws of the State,
- why did he swear to do so? If he is so morally opposed to Amendment
- 2, he could resign from office rather than enforce or defend it.
- _That_ would be "doing the Right Thing": Both obeying his oath of
- office and his moral views. Ignoring the one in favor of the
- other is simply following political expediency, which is what
- he will (in my opinion) do.
