- I thought stiff brie was anathema to true connoisseurs. To get it
- appropriately runny, isn't it generally sufficient to let it stand at
- room temperature for half an hour or so? I'm not a real brie lover
- myself... and I *am* rather fond of sharp cheddar, in moderation.

- Aha. I wondered when that magical moment was to be. Well, I've got it
- narrowed down to a span of 31 days, anyway.
-
- Hmmm... I wonder if I can get away for/with this. I don't work for
- Suffolk County, so I don't get Evacuation Day as a holiday.
-
- [Explanation for the New-England-impaired: March 17th is an official
- holiday of Suffolk County, MA, which includes Boston and precious
- little else. The bizarre name apparently refers to the occasion of the
- British Army evacuating -- i.e., departing -- from Boston, during the
- Revolutionary War. It is generally recognized that this holiday exists
- for the sole purpose of allowing the (largely Irish) employees of the
- City of Boston to spend St. Patrick's day in the appropriate fashion
- (i.e., getting plastered).]
