  26. Sorry, it is not true that all major population centers in Colorado
  27. except Colo Spgs voted Amendment #2 down.  The only major population
  28. centers that voted it down were the City and County of Denver, Boulder,
  29. Durango, Glenwood Springs, Steamboat Springs, Summit County
  30. (Breckenridge/Keystone/Frisco), Vail, Aspen, Crested Butte/Gunnison,
  31. Idaho Springs, Central City, and Telluride.  Voting _yes_ on Amendment #2 
  32. were all of suburban Denver, Longmont and Broomfield (Boulder County), 
  33. Larimer County (includes Ft. Collins but I haven't seen the precinct breakout),
  34. Greeley, Colorado Springs, Pueblo, Grand Junction, along with all of eastern
  35. Colorado and the western boarder counties.  This thing passed 48 Colorado
  36. counties, including 8 of the 10 most populated counties (which have 80% 
  37. of the population), it failed in only 15.

  44. South Africans heeded this call and many white South Africans agreed in
  45. their call for a South African boycott.

  47. I am asking friends here to try to spend money only in Denver (the city,
  48. not the 'burbs) and in Boulder, and in the mountain resort towns.  I am 
  49. also asking friends that, if they decide to come to Colorado, that they 
  50. do the same.  And frankly, the only thing I'll do in El Paso county 
  51. (Colo Spgs) is breathe.
