  18. Picard's body was changed, but his mind was not. Since Picard is
  19. French, he presumably learned English with an English accent
  20. (since England is closer than the US). Ideally, they would've
  21. found a kid who could do Stewart's "English-Shakespearean-Actor-
  22. Doing-a-French-Guy-Speaking-English-Flawlessly" accent, but that
  23. was too much to hope for, so they just settled for some JV Etonian.
