- Well! And I wasn't *insulting* him, really. (He *is* awfully
- sexy in person.) I was just pointing out his curiously affected
- speech. (Note to Rod: If you think Jessye Norman's accent is
- bad, you should listen to Leontyne Price sometimes. And not just
- her affected accent -- her vocabulary is a scream. I heard her
- once say that the role of Desdemona was not appropriate for someone
- of her "hue".)
