- I'm used to the form "chthonian" (as much as one is ever used to words
- like this), meaning "infernal" or "demonic". Maybe "self-demonizing"
- would be a more reasonable gloss, although that doesn't sound right
- either. Well, at any rate we have our definition. Anyone care to quote
