- Actually, the Supreme Court hasn't heard a state gun control law
- case in almost a century. A great many state supreme courts HAVE
- struck down a variety of gun control laws, based on the state
- constitutional provisions. Some of those courts have recognized
- that their provision is derived from the Second Amendment.
