- a somewhat similar thing happened to my husband. he recieved notice in
- the mail reminding him to pay his income tax. we thought this odd as we
- filed jointly, and have received our refund check (so they must have
- the return, right?) he called the irs and was told 'yours was the first
- name on the form, right? no, your wife's name was first? well, thats
- unusual! anyway, since your wife was first on the form, and we assume
- the husband's name is first, the computer kicked you out as having not
- filed.'
