- At a recent postcard show I picked up an extremely interesting card:
-
- The picture is of a submarine, apparently an unmodified GATO/BALAO (?)
- class, firing a vehicle which closely resembles a V-1 ("buzz bomb")
- rearward from a ramp.
-
- The V-1-lookalike is basically white, with red and yellow wide
- single
- bands around the nose. The pulse-jet unit is dark gray.
-
- The caption says "LTV-N-2 Being Launched from Submarine". It's a fairly
- old card, as the printer's address has no ZIP code.
-
- Any information would be appreciated.
