- I saw this book on the sale table at the local Waldenbooks at
- lunchtime and it appears to be just what some of you out there would
- want, based on queries and discussions that have appeared here:

- WWII ORDER OF BATTLE by Shelby L. Stanton. $24.98

- This is a thick large-format book that claims to list every US unit that
- participated in WWII. There are some color plates at the front,
- but most badges are shown in line drawings. The "36th Infantry"
- one we've discussed here was in there (line drawing only) -- it was
- actually the "36th Armored Infantry Regiment".

- For $25 it seems a reasonable Xmas present item...
