- In the course of solving a least-squares problem I have worked
- the thing down to a stumbling block: how does one solve
- min ||AX - XB||
- subject to the constraint that X be unitary? A is a complex
- matrix; B is upper triangular and Toeplitz, if that helps at all.
- It doesn't matter to me if the matrix norm is Frobenius or 2-norm.
- Solutions and/or references to the literature would be most welcome.
