- Hello everyone:
-
- I am looking for a public domain package to solve sytems of Partial
- Differential Equations. Somewhere I read about a package called FORSIM,
- which uses Runge-Kutta with variable step size. I have used this technique
- to solve Ordinary Differential Equations, but I can't quite grasp how it can be
- used for PDE's.
- I have been using the finite differencing techniques described in PDE books,
- but my solutions are very unstable and sensitive to grid size. I'm sure there
- are some algorithms out there that improve on this, but since i'm new to PDE's,
- I'm completely confused. Any help will be appreciated.
