- I read somewhere that a flawless emerald was worth more than a flawless
- anything else of the same weight. This is because emeralds fracture very
- readily and flawless ones of any reasonable size are next to impossible to
- find. Emeralds are my favorite, too, and I also wonder what causes the
- original poster to dislike them.
