- Why is it that so many people on this newsgroup doubt that the Great
- Pyramid at Gizeh functioned as a tomb? Skeptics consider the following
- facts:
-
- 1) The Great Pyramid, like other pyramids, is connected to a funerary
- temple complex.
- 2) The pyramid is surrounded by the tombs of the king's wives and nobility.
- 3) There is undeniable evidence that pyramids built before and after those
- at Gizeh wer used as tombs. Why would the Great Pyramid be any different?
- 4) The texts inscribed on the walls of pyramids (including the Great Pyramid)
- clearly show that the structure had a funerary purpose.
-
- Just a little information for your intellectual palettes. I hope this
- newsgroup can be used for constructive discussions, and not wild speculations
- and "flames".
