  31. Well, when I was at Cornell (86-90) in Ithaca NY, I took windsurfing on
  32. the finger lakes (right by the scool). Turns out you could take
  33. windsurfing through the scool (phys ed credits) and only pay something
  34. like $160 for 4 month, and use all the equipment as often as you wanted
  35. (pretty good stuff there). Needless to say I was there a lot, even missed
  36. afternoon classes when the wind was very good. This is where I learned to
  37. windsurf (during the fall when the winds are better, but before the lake
  38. freezes !) and now looking back at it I think that was a lot of fun and a
  39. good deal for the money.

  41. Believe me, you have a lot more time in college than you will ever have
  42. once you start working. You just don't have the money... Then again I
  43. really shouldn't complain because my job here in the SF bay is flexible
  44. enough so I can usually take afternoons off to windsurf during the summer
  45. and work at night instead. Most people aren't that lucky and can only go
  46. during weekends. The SF area is a great place to windsurf (and work)
  47. though...
