  23. BTW, if your U50 is like JVC machines, you can make it NOT put on the index.
  24. Try going into play mode, pause at the point you want to start recording,
  25. enter record mode (you'll still be paused) and then unpause.  That will
  26. avoid putting on a mark where you don't want one.
