- I need to clarify this a little. The EVS3000 says that datacode
- is received over the Lanc. But I think that they are only using
- this as a control signal for the Advanced Synchro-edit function.
- It is not recorded on the Hi8 target tape in the EVS3000.

- For example, if you edit from a TR101 to a 3000, and then play
- back the tape, there is no control (that I am aware of) on the
- 3000 that will let you selectively turn on or off the date or time
- display. And if you then take that target tape and play it back
- from the TR101, when you activate the date or time display it just
- shows lines on the screen.
