- Perhaps some video guru can help me with this. I have an EP tape recorded
- with one VCR that gives me a black pause with no slo-mo when played on a
- JVC 970. However, if I record the tape EP on the JVC and play it back on
- the same JVC, I'll get so-mo capability. What's the deal? Is there some
- kind of timing that is written for EP tapes that I don't get with another
- VCR? Note that I can play SP tapes recorded with other VCR's on the JVC
- and get slo-mo. Why aren't these effected as well? Thanks!
