  12. Perhaps some video guru can help me with this.  I have an EP tape recorded
  13. with one VCR that gives me a black pause with no slo-mo when played on a
  14. JVC 970.  However, if I record the tape EP on the JVC and play it back on
  15. the same JVC, I'll get so-mo capability.  What's the deal?  Is there some
  16. kind of timing that is written for EP tapes that I don't get with another
  17. VCR?  Note that I can play SP tapes recorded with other VCR's on the JVC
  18. and get slo-mo.  Why aren't these effected as well?  Thanks!
