  16. I thought so. My TV is not that great, but the picture quality is much better
  17. using Hi-8 - if the number of dropouts are not too high.

  19. I rented a TR81    for a day to do some testing. I had some dropout problems,
  20. but the  picture quality was enough better I decided to chance it that they
  21. could be worked through.

  23. Last night I bought one at Camera World's retail outlet. They are having a 
  24. sale. I got a TR81 with everything that comes in the box, a soft case, 2
  25. additional 1 hour Hi 8 tapes and an extra Sony 2 hour battery for $959 or 
  26. $969. I can't remember exactly.
