- Beefore choosing your SVHS editing deck, you should map out what kind
- of edit control you will be doing. If going strictl;y for synchro-edit
- (non-controller hookup of camcorder and editing VCR), the the Sony SLRV5
- is probably the best choice, since it speaks the same control-L language.
- If you're planning to use an external controller of computer to run
- the process, then ask the controller rep. to recommend the optimum deck.

- For example, if you like the Future Video EC-1000Pro (about $600), then
- they may recommend the Panasonic AG-1960 ($900 - $1100). I personally
