- The main thing you should look into is a guidebook - go to a bookstore,
- browse, and buy the one that looks most use to you. There are lots of them
- and it is a fair bet that EVERY SINGLE ONE has the address and phone number
- for the youth hostels you're after, as well as a description of their
- facilities.
-
- If you have a question that you *can't* answer *after* reading the basic
- and obvious stuff, get back to us.
-
- (What the guidebooks might not have, except for the most recent editions:
- the cheapest way to get to Scotland is by the Knight Rider bus, which
- leaves from the western side of King's Cross station at about 11pm and goes
- to Edinburgh via Glasgow. Ask at a travel agent when you get to London,
- you shouldn't have much problem getting a seat except at peak dates. It's
- a boring and uncomfortable ride, but you're getting what you're paying for).
