  22. The main thing you should look into is a guidebook - go to a bookstore,
  23. browse, and buy the one that looks most use to you.  There are lots of them
  24. and it is a fair bet that EVERY SINGLE ONE has the address and phone number
  25. for the youth hostels you're after, as well as a description of their
  26. facilities.

  28. If you have a question that you *can't* answer *after* reading the basic
  29. and obvious stuff, get back to us.

  31. (What the guidebooks might not have, except for the most recent editions:
  32. the cheapest way to get to Scotland is by the Knight Rider bus, which
  33. leaves from the western side of King's Cross station at about 11pm and goes
  34. to Edinburgh via Glasgow.  Ask at a travel agent when you get to London,
  35. you shouldn't have much problem getting a seat except at peak dates.  It's
  36. a boring and uncomfortable ride, but you're getting what you're paying for).
